In the Cubillos del Sil Technology Development Center it is planned to have different Facilities for the validation of green hydrogen production technologies and energy storage: a high temperature electrolyzer, a photovoltaic plant, energy storage systems with lithium ion technologies and sulfur sodium and an energy storage system in batteries with vanadium redox flow technology among others.
These types of facilities would form a democated energy critical infrastructure, constituting a microgrid one, whose joint operation is based on an integral management of the different systems, systems whose relocation requires an interconnectivity of very high quality and availability, using the Internet network
These systems must be duly securized to cybercidents, pursuing compliance with the NIS2 that will be transcribed to a mandatory law in their entry into force within a nearby period. Therefore, it is vitally important to implement a cybersecurity system with the objective of:
Increase the protection of digital assets and critical infrastructure
Improve the detection, analysis and response capacities against cyberamenazas.
Strengthen Technological sovereignty regarding cybersecurity, according to the principles of the PRTr and the regulation (EU) 2021/241
