Tender Details

Design, Construction, Installation, Rehabilitation, Completion and Recommissioning of the Alaoa, Fale Ole Fee and Samasoni Hydro Facilities. The main qualification criteria are:

a) Minimum average annual turnover of US$10.0 million.

b) Cash-flow requirement, US$1.0 million, and the overall cash flow requirements for this

contract and its current works commitment.

c) Experience under contracts in the role of contractor, subcontractor, or management

contractor for at least the last five (5) years prior to the bid submission deadline.

d) Participation as contractor, management contractor, or subcontractor, in at least three (3)

contracts within the last ten (10) years, each with a value of at least US$3.0 million that

have been successfully or are substantially completed and that are similar to the

proposed plant and services. The similarity shall be based on the physical size,

complexity, methods, technology or other characteristics as described in Section 6

(Employer-s Requirements).

e) Successful completion of design and analysis of at least 1 (one) concrete weir structure,

screen and intake similar in size to that proposed.

f) Successful completion of design and analysis of at least 1 (one) penstock refurbishment

project similar in size to that proposed.

g) Successful completion of design and analysis of at least 1 (one) penstock installation

project similar in size to that proposed.

h) Successful completion of construction of at least 1 (one) concrete weir structure, screen

and intake similar in size to that proposed.Non refundable fee for bid documents is US$200 or $450 Samoan Tala. Bidders must

pay fee at EPC office or deposit into EPC bank account.
