This project involves replacing timber pier and bank-end/abutment structures to enhance safety and reliability on the Central Western System at 26 bridge locations between Emerald and Longreach.It aligns with the overarching asset management strategy to eliminate all timber piers and continues an intensive structure renewal program that has been in place for the past nine years.
