Tenders are invited for Design & Build Services for Marlie Mount Primary Expansion and Sanitation, St. Catherine (#073591).

The Government of Jamaica has received funding from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) in the amount of US$7, 521, 000 towards the cost of the Basic Needs Trust Fund Ninth Cycle (BNTF 9). The Jamaica Social Investment Fund as the implementing agency, intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to cover payments under contracts for the following:

DESIGN & BUILD SERVICES FOR MARLIE MOUNT PRIMARY EXPANSION AND SANITATION, ST. CATHERINE (#073591)

Scope: The scope of works include, but is not limited to the construction of ten (10) classroom block, utilizing quick erect modular building system methodology on the school grounds with classrooms no less than 53.58m2 or 576.73ft2. The construction of eight (8) seater male and female bathroom facility (5 w.c.s for girls; 3 w.c.s for boys along with a urinal trough) and dedicated stalls for the physically disabled. The project will also involve the construction of a tertiary sewer system. The Delivery time (design and construction) is Eight (8) months.

Bid Security: Bids MUST be accompanied by Bid Security in the amount of One Hundred Thousand Dollars (J$100, 000.00)
