Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Design, Build, Finance, Operation, Maintenance and Transfer of Integrated Worker Accommodation Community (IWAC) Projects at Umm Salal & Al Khor Ba/2018/C/001/G.

Tender Fees: QAR 2000/- (Non Refundable).

Tender Guarantee Amount (QAR) 200, 000/- for each site.

Single Residential Facility - maximum capacity 5, 000 workers

Community Retail, leisure and Service Facilities - to serve a total population of approximately 28.000 workers

The award of each plot will be based on an initial concession/operational period of 25 years. During this period the Concessionaire will pay a nominal rent to government of two (2) Qatari Riyal per square metre per annum.

Proposals will be required to demonstrate the provision of high quality permanent workers accommodation and must be accompanied by detailed plans for the design, construction and operational stages of the project.

Who should respond to this Tender:
Contractors, Services Companies and Developers that can commit to the financing, development and long term operation and maintenance of high quality permanent workers accommodation in the Umm Salal & Al Khor areas of Qatar.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

This Tender Notice is for online Tendering Services only, so kindly follow this procedure :

• All Companies Eligible to Tender shall mandatocily register on ASHGHAL website as a requirement for Online Tender Services.

• Brief Scope of Work for the Tender can be viewed online before the Tender Fee Payment; also full Tender Document may be examined before purchasing at the Documents Collection Unit at Public Works Authority (West Bay, Al Faisal Tower-1, Ground Floor)

• Non-Refundable Tender Document Fee shall be paid Online using acceptable Credit / Debit Cards. Documents can be downloaded after the purchase has been successfully completed.

• The Tender shall be accompanied by an acceptable Tender Guarantee, in the form of 'Bank Manager's Cheque" or 'Letter of Guarantee', issued by a local or accredited bank and valid for a period of (120 days) starting from the closing date. Any Tender received without the proper guarantee will be rejected in its entirety.

• The Tender shall remain valid for a period of (90 days) as stipulated in the 'Instructions to Tenderers'.

• The Tender shall be submitted as specified in the "Instructions to
Tenderers-.

• Queries for each Tender shall be raised as specified in the 'Instructions to Tenderers'.

• The Tenders shall be delivered by mail or deposited in the Tenders Submission Unit at Public Works Authority (West Bay, Al Faisal Tower-1. Ground Floor) and addressed to the Chairman of the concerned Tenders Committee no later than 01.00 pm, local Doha time on the closing date. Any Tender received after the stated time and date will not be considered.

• The successful Tenderer shall provide a Performance Guarantee in the amount of Ten percent (10%) of the Contract Price issued by a local or accredited bank and valid for the whole completion period including the warranty or maintenance period as per the Tender Conditions.

• The Public Works Authority shall be entitled to increase or decrease the quantities or size of the concluded Contract by no more than Twenty percent (20%) of the Contract Price.
