Contractors are invited to bid on the Department of Corrections AC Project - Phase 1 - NSCF for Buildings and General Services at 2559 Glen Road in Newport, Vermont. This project consists of, but is not limited to: Northern State Correctional Facility 1.1. This work is to implement air conditioning to both the gymnasium and cafeteria via air source heat pump packaged rooftop units ducted into existing air distribution equipment. Please refer to attached design documents. 1.2. Plumbing 1.2.1. Connect existing air handlers to condensate plumbing stubs. 1.3. Construction 1.3.1. Provide new ductwork into the existing ductwork distribution including dampers for isolation. 1.4. BAS Integration 1.4.1. This building has existing DDC controls installed and maintained by Johnson Controls, Inc. 1.4.2. New work shall be coordinated with this vendor. 1.4.3. It is strongly recommended any new DDC work be performed by this vendor. 1.5. Schedule 1.5.1. This work is to be completed as soon as possible, with the intention for implementation before the end of the cooling season. 1.6. Requirements 1.6.1. A waiver for criminal record and background verification for each worker on site shall be submitted to DOC (David.Turner@Vermont.gov) a minimum of two weeks prior to work.
