DFC High-Low Voltage and PV Operations & Maintenance
SOURCES SOUGHT - The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine the appropriate level of competition in the marketplace, in accordance with FAR 19.10. Information received in response to this notice will be used to make a determination regarding the use of full and open competition or set aside the procurement as an 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOB), Woman-Owned Business, Veteran-Owned Business or Large Business.
INTRODUCTION:
General Services Administration is seeking all viable and qualified contractors that have performed or have the capability to perform High/Low Voltage and Solar Operation, Maintenance and Repair Services. This procurement is pursuant to NAICS Code 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a $19 million threshold, to include all subsidiaries and any parent company.
Services are for the operation, maintenance and repair of High/Low Voltage and Solar Operations and Maintenance for the exterior electrical distribution systems at the Denver Federal Center (DFC) in Lakewood, Colorado. This contract complies with all local and federal codes including the National Electric Testing Association (NETA) and National Electric Code (NEC) requirements for maintenance of our exterior electrical distribution systems and equipment. The DFC is transmission power fed with 115KV electrical service from Xcel Energy, which is transformed down to 13.8kV at our main substation consisting of an "X" and "Y" transformer and then distributed to each of our exterior transformers which directly feed the DFC buildings with 240/480V power. The high voltage substation requires a high voltage electrical foreman experienced in the operation, maintenance, and repair of high voltage substations.
