The demolition target is the Hämeenlinna Central Parish Hall located in the center of Hämeenlinna at Rauhankatu 14, 13100 Hämeenlinna. The contract period is 6 months, estimated from 04/2026 to 09/2026. The object to be demolished is mainly built in two parts. of the 1950s The building part completed at the beginning is located along Rauhantie in the south corner of the plot, including three floors and an attic in addition to the basement floor. The office part, completed in the early 1960s, has two basement floors parallel to Rauhankatu in addition, three floors and an attic, and two floors parallel to Birger Jaarlin street, including the parish hall on the upper floor and the sports hall on the lower floor. In addition, in the 1970s, a small archive space was added to the building on the side of the backyard and beyond several small internal changes and renovations. The total extent of the demolition site is approx. 3, 000 m2, the volume is approx. 10, 000 m3 and the plot size is approx. 1, 800 m2. also includes the construction of a retaining wall for the construction of a new building. The construction of the retaining wall is carried out with drilled piles and weldable retaining plates (drilled pile retaining wall). The plot will be transferred in a controlled manner to the main contractor of the new building at the end of September 2026. The transfer will be reviewed.
