Background Åmli municipality needs to demolish and clean up older buildings on the property Skulekleiva 3, 4865 Åmli. The building stock is outdated, unsuitable for further use and contains substances hazardous to health and the environment which must be handled in a responsible manner. The acquisition will contribute to the municipality being able to carry out the necessary clean-up and demolition in line with current regulations and the attached environmental mapping report. The purpose is to ensure that environmentally hazardous substances are completely removed, that the work is carried out in a safe manner, and that the site is clean, tidy and safe after completion. The measure applies to the former upper secondary school and includes Wing A, Wing B, Wing C as well as a shed behind Wing C. Wing D has already been demolished and is not included in this acquisition. The property is close to neighbors and borders Åmli school, which uses parts of the area for employee parking. Suppliers must therefore be prepared to take care of safety, traffic, noise, dust and necessary shielding during the implementation period.
