The purpose of this order is the delivery of a platform for the purposes of the GATE Institute, which is extensible and interoperable and integrates with the Data Space data environment. The platform should be based on the reference architecture of the Big Data Value Association (BDVA), which was developed in collaborationengagement with technical experts and stakeholders from across the data lifecycle, as well as from engagement with relevant public-private partnerships. The reference architecture serves as a framework for positioning big data technologies in the overall IT stack. It addresses the keyis aspects to consider when developing big data systems. The architecture of the GATE platform and the functional requirements for all 26 components are detailed in Sections 3 and 4 of the Technical Specification.
