. Meat, cold cuts and poultry should: a) Be transported in packaging intended for this purpose, made of materials intended for contact with food, undamaged, not wet and clean, without traces of mold and foreign odors. Marked with a visible due date shelf life, origin and batch number. b) The entire range of meat and cold cuts must come from plants under constant supervision of the State Veterinary Inspection. Each shipment must have a commercial identification document or an EU oval mark veterinary mark on the collective packaging. c) fresh meat: It must have a natural smell appropriate to a given species, firm and elastic consistency (when pressed with a finger, the dent must disappear immediately). It is unacceptable for meat to slither and show signs of slipping burning, turning blue, matt or with a foreign odor (e.g. genital/urinary in the case of pork)d) Labeling of poultry: Supplies of poultry meat must be carried out in full compliance with the new EU trade requirements set out in the Regulation delegated to the Commission (EU) 2026/343 (in terms of classification, presentation and mandatory indications on labels).e) Meat and processed meats:...
