Our department is looking to purchase a gamma counter. This device is intended for use in X-ray and gamma spectrometry-based analysis of low activity samples in nuclear medicine applications using various radionuclides. The device must be able to measure multiple samples consecutively and in an automated manner. It must be possible to add samples to the sample queue while the device is measuring a sample (e.g. for PET radionuclides with short half-lives, such as C-11 or F-18). The system must have sufficient sample capacity, with a minimum of 500 samples, for consecutive measurement analyses. Higher sample capacities provide added value to it voorstel.
