The designated contractor, Waygate, shall provide to the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst the procurement of Defect Measurement Video 4MM Borescopes (P/N XLGOB3920M-N, NSN: 6650-01-586-0426). Waygate is the designer, developer, and original equipment manufacturer of the Defect Measurement Video 4MM Borescope (P/N XLGOB3920M-N), and it is the only part that is compatible with the MH-60S/R aircraft. Waygate possesses the data rights and technical data package for this test set. They do not have any authorized distributors. The Government contacted Waygate Technologies via email on 13 February, 2026 and are not willing to sell this data to NAWCAD.
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract.
