In the context of large-scale projects, the University of Antwerp (Department of Bioscience Engineering) is looking for a service provider for sequencing human samples. This specifically by performing deep metagenomic shotgun sequencing on DNA isolated from human samples. The service is inclincluding quality control of the delivered DNA, sequencing library preparation, shotgun metagenomic sequencing (
45Gbp/sample (2x150 PE)), quality control of the raw sequencing data, initial processing of the raw data in which sequencing reads with too low quality are removed and deliveryof the raw data. DNA will be extracted from human samples. After the DNA extractions, the DNA samples will be sent to the service provider for analysis (i.e., deep metagenomic shotgun sequencing). All services will be performed on DNA from human samples. The shipmentof the DNA samples to the service provider will be carried out by the University of Antwerp.
