DECLARATION OF AN OPEN PROCEDURE ABOVE THE BORDER, IN DEPARTMENTS FOR THE SELECTION OF PROJECT EXECUTION CONTRACTORS "Creation of Mixed Fire Zones on forest roads of the P.E. Evia, Evros, Messinia and Laconia under the responsibility of the Forestry Departments of Aliveri, Istiaea, Limni, Chalkida, Didymoteicho, Kalamata, Sparta etc.of Kyparissia, in accordance with the provisions of no. 16 par. 5 of Law 998/1979"

The scope of each Section of the commissioned Project includes: Contracting Authority, for approval, study for the works describedi in items (ii) below.

ii. the execution of fire protection works based on the approved Study and specifically the creation of mixed fire protection zones, in public forests and forest lands on both sides of forest roads. During the execution of the above tasks, the management of forest productsof biomass will be based on what is defined in the Technical Description of each Department, with the aim of utilizing them in accordance with the provisions of article 64 of Law 5069/2023 (A' 193).

iii. carrying out maintenance work on the newly installed broad-leaved tree species in accordance with the orders of the competent authorityDirectorate.
