The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to procure the Decade Resistor Box as calibration standards and ancillary equipment for Naval Air Systems Command Fleet Intermediate Calibration Activities, Fleet Training Activities and NAVAIR Metrology and Calibration Navy Calibration Laboratories.This procurement will be a full and open competition between the sellers that can provide the exact brand name part number or equivalent of 1433-29. IET Labs, Inc. is the current Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and owns the proprietary rights to the item listed above. The Government does not own the technical data and the procurement of any other similar part number would result in additional testing costs as well as verification and revisions to the current Instrument Calibration Procedures (ICP). The resultant contract will be competitively awarded, on a firm-fixed price basis, to the responsible business that can provide the exact brand name part number or equivalent at the lowest technically acceptable cost to the Government. Specific information will include detailed specifications (salient characteristics) in solicitation N68335-20-R-0014 and will be issued and posted on the Beta.SAM website at https://beta.sam.gov/ on or about 06 January 2020 and will close 30 days after the solicitation issue date.THIS AMENDED PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
