EllisDon Civil Ltd. is the Construction Manager for the Downtown Brampton Flood Protection (DBFP) Project in the City of Brampton. EllisDon Civil Ltd. invites all qualified firms (hereinafter called the “Subcontractor”) to submit a Proposal for Retaining Wall works required for the Downtown Brampton Flood Protection Project, in accordance with the attached drawings and specifications.The work to be performed under this contract consists of all work shown on the Contract Documents, and includes but is not limited to the following: Furnish all labour, equipment, materials, engineering, and supervision necessary for the construction of temporary and/or permanent earth retention systems, including but not limited to: Supply, installation, maintenance, monitoring, and removal (where applicable) of soldier pile retaining wall systems complete with all ancillary components required to achieve the lines, grades, and elevations indicated on the Contract Drawings; Supply and installation of timber lagging between soldier piles, including all materials, cutting, fitting, shimming, and adjustments necessary to maintain soil retention and excavation stability throughout the duration of the Work; Excavation associated with the installation of soldier pile retaining walls and related structures, including all trimming, shaping, dewatering, temporary stabilization measures, and excavation support systems required to facilitate the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents; Management of...
