The object of the procurement is a service provider that mainly produces transportation for daytime activities as well as other possible passenger transportation needs in the operating area of the Päijät-Häme welfare area. Transports are divided into six (6) sub-areas which located in the following areas:1. Lahti2. Hollola and Kärkölä3. Iitti4. Heinola5. Asikkala6. OrimattilaHankinta also essentially includes the mediation center service provider of the Päijät-Häme welfare area (hereinafter "Mediation Center"), which is responsible for the procurement from planning the transports of the customers involved, receiving orders, cancellations and changes, and forwarding transports to vehicles. The operation of the service complex requires close cooperation from the service provider and Päijät-Häme in the direction of the welfare area and the mediation center. The Päijät-Häme welfare area is purchasing contract vehicles with this request for tenders, for which a minimum compensation of eight (8) hours of driving per day will be reimbursed according to the offered hourly price. Driving day during the period, the contract vehicle is obliged to drive all passenger transports of the customers of the Päijät-Häme welfare area, which are forwarded to the vehicle by the brokerage center. Contract vehicles are, however, primarily reserved for daytime use in the Päijät-Häme welfare area for the transportation of the work and day activities of the activity centers and the mobile day activities of the housing units.
