The procured services complement the City of Helsinki's own service offering as well as the service voucher offering. The elderly daytime activities are mainly intended for Helsinki residents who are over 65 years old and live at home. Memory illness and replacement of the caregiver's statutory leave with day care are the most important criteria for admission to day care.
