The council is intending to undertake a procurement exercise for a Day Opportunities Framework contract for adults in Barnsley and is undertaking this pre-market engagement to inform service providers of this intention. Day opportunities services for adults will benefit those people attending the services by improving their well-being, increasing their independence, preventing social isolation, developing new skills and ensuring people have access to their community assets, reducing the need to travel. For carers, day opportunities services will enable the carer to take a break from their caring role and engage in activities that promote their own wellbeing. This provider presentation briefing session will be held on Microsoft Teams with all providers interested in tendering to be on the framework. The session is expected to last one hour. A maximum of two representatives per service provider organisation may attend. Date: 11 February 2026 Time: 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Venue: Microsoft Teams In order to register attendance, please complete and return appendix 1 of the Pre-Market Engagement Document by 12noon on Monday 9th February.
