Database for personnel data
In a first phase, the set-up of a new database for personnel data, the PDM (Personnel Data Master), is carried out. The PDM will act as a master for personnel-related data for processes that need it. The applications that support these processes will refer to the PDM in terms of personnel data. Then, in subsequent phases, the various other "customers" will be connected to this PDM. It is therefore of course interesting that the chosen solution can easily graft itself on underlying applications. Examples of underlying applications are Identity and Access management (IAM), strategic resource planning, travel costs, and VDAB access control. Many customers are only interested in personnel lists filtered according to certain attributes. Attributes that are, potentially, specific to that customer.
