CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking proposals to renew or replace the current Database administration tool used by our employees and/or consultants. The tool is currently used by around 35 software developers and 6 Database Administrators. For a total of 45-50 potential users across the company. Some users will require simple and some will require advanced functionalities.Following are the Mandatory Requirements for this RFP Managing relationnal Databases (Oracle, SQL Server) Schema/session Browser : is an interface that allows us to work with various objects and sessions in the database Schema/data compare : provides an easy way to use interface for doing comparisons among two or more schemas and objects. DDL (Data Description Language) DML (Data Manipulation Language) PL/SQL : execute the Package From TOAD in the Schema Browser. Debugger/profiler : the debugger enables you to step through code, analyze stack frames and set breakpoints. and the profilers run code and give you a detailed breakdown of execution times, allowing you to identify bottlenecks in your programs. Export/Import : The Export and Import utilities provide a simple way for us to transfer data objects between Oracle databases. Exporting data in delimited text, Excel and Insert statements.
