"The Purpose Of This Project Is To Ensure That Friable And Non-Friable Asbestos Containing Materials, Both Known And Unknown, Located Within The Site Are Appropriately Managed During The Removal Of Approximately 600 Lineal Meters Of Fire Damaged Asbestos Of 150Mm Conduit Located Within The Dargan Creek Reserve Which Was Recently Damaged Due To Fire. The Conduit Is Located Over A Bridge Structure, Within Overgrown Shrubs And Below Ground Surface In Some Locations. It Will Be The Contractors Responsibility To Remove All Asbestos To An Appropriately Licenced Facility. Structures To Access The Conduit Will Be Provided By The Principal Along With Site Security And Basic Amenities And Site Shed.Dargan Creek Reserve Is Located In The Central Tablelands Of New South Wales Between The Towns Of Clarence And Dargan, Approximately 15 Km East Of Lithgow.It Is Anticipated That The Removal Process Will Take 4 Weeks With Sufficient Staffing Provided By The Contractor.The Site Is In Remote And Steep Terrain Within An Ecologically Sensitive Area, The Site Is 4Wd Only."
