THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES
Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a firm fixed price contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i); Only One Source Responsibly Available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to: Silverstone Systems, LLC (dba: DAKTIC), Springville, UT 84663, for: one (1) DAKTIC "Zoom-Ready" Support Package, six (6) Basic Hydraulics - Double-Station Trainers, three (3) Hydraulic Cylinder Training System - Base System, (27) Round Welded Type Hydraulic Cylinder, (27) Tie-Rod Type Hydraulic Cylinder and one (1) Pump Cavitation Simulator manufactured by DAKTIC, to support training operations within the Construction Mechanic (CM) "C" School Hydraulic course (CIN A-610-0052) at Naval Construction Training Center (NCTC), Port Hueneme, California. The items are direct replacements for the existing system and no other vendor can supply the DAKTIC Hydraulic System Trainer for CM "C" School for Automotive Air Conditioning. Acquiring different equipment would require significant curriculum modification, instructor retraining, and revision of course materials, resulting in unacceptable delays to personnel training and potentially disrupt the Navy-s training pipeline. The anticipated award date of this action is on or before 27 August 2026. The applicable NAICS code is 332912.
