The cystoscopy resection set operates by allowing the surgeon to visualize and access the bladder and lower urinary tract using a rigid cystoscope and resectoscope assembly. The system combines optical imaging, fluid irrigation, and electrosurgical energy delivery to perform diagnostic and therapeutic urologic procedures such as transurethral resection of bladder tumors (TURBT), transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP), biopsy, coagulation, and removal of lesions or foreign bodies.
