Description
This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for market research andplanning purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10. This is not a Request forProposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or Invitation for Bid (IFB), and itdoes not constitute a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation oraward a contract. The Government will not reimburse any costs associated withresponding to this RFI or providing any requested information.The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking sources capable ofmanufacturing and delivering custom-fabricated intake guards (“IntakeShields”) for Cummins engines installed on the 47-foot Motor Lifeboat (47 MLB), in accordance with Government-provided specifications.
