The works entail the restoration and conservation of any historic fortifications and their ancillary buildings, monuments and sites in all their parts which may include but not be limited to: a. Stone cleaning, conservation and replacement (globigerina, franka, hardstone); b. Masonry consolidation, stitching and grouting; c. Lime-based renders, mortars and plasters; d. Cleaning of stone surfaces using approved conservation techniques; e. Restoration of historic architectural elements; f. Restoration of metal grilles and other metallic architectural elements; g. Restoration of timber apertures, including doors, windows, shutters and related components; h. Manufacture and installation of new apertures and grilles; i. Rock bolting; j. Construction works; k. Roof screeds; l. Drainage works; m. Waterproofing; n. Minor structural strengthening works associated with conservation.
