Description : Objective and Purpose of the Assignment
The engagement of the Associate Engineer is essential to strengthen the PMO-s internal technical
capacity, distinct from both the leadership roles of the Design and Construction Supervision (DSC) firm.
While the DSC provides external expertise, the PMO requires dedicated internal technical experts to act
as the primary quality controller of the submission of the DSC as well as conduct internal verifications
of progress accomplishments of the Contractors on site.
Considering the simultaneous construction of seventeen (17) Regional Training and Innovation Centers
(RTICs), additional technical manpower is necessary to augment the capacity of the Engineering Unit. The
current workforce is managing a substantial volume of engineering and contract administration tasks,
including the review and processing of Variation Orders, Contract Time Extensions, shop drawings,
technical submittals, and other contractor requests. The engagement of additional Associate Engineer
will help ensure the timely evaluation and resolution of these matters, thereby minimizing delays in
project implementation.
