Detailed_Description : This Request for Information (“RFI”) is issued by His Majesty the King in right of Ontario as represented by the Solicitor General and the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS), for the purposes of gathering information from suppliers about the marketplace to assist in evaluating available solutions for operational needs regarding the capabilities, specifications, and support services associated with throw phone systems used in hostage negotiation scenarios used by correctional teams across Ontario Correctional and Youth Institutions.The Ministry expects that any information gathered through this RFI may help support the Ministry in a future procurement for throw phones systems used in crises negotiation in correctional environment.Respondents are requested to provide the information as outlined in this RFI including anticipated start-up and operating costs as well as any additional features that will enable the ministries to establish its specifications. As the Ministries are exploring cost-saving options, the response should also outline how the solution proposed will create value for the Ministry including an anticipated return on investment.
