The Texas General Land Office (“GLO”) and the Veterans Land Board (“VLB”)(collectively the “GLO/VLB”) issues this Request For Proposals (“RFP”) to solicit proposals for credit reporting services. The VLB-s Land and Housing Division requires the verification of credit of all applicants who participate in the VLB-s Veterans Home Improvement and Land Loan Programs. Historically, credit verifications have been completed through a credit reporting system, which electronically delivers credit, fraud, and lien/judgment results within seconds via a secure, password-protected Internet site, or via the VLB-s loan origination system, together with the locational information of applicants through an online tracking system.
