Short description : Dam Jacket is located in Lierelva in Lier municipality. The pond was established in the early 1900s and was originally used for industrial gas supply. The dam is not used for any purpose other than recreational purposes. The pond consists of the main dam, side pillar and a barrier chamber located at the bottom of the magazine. The facility isconcession-free. The head and side team do not meet the current regulations for dam safety and rehabilitation and reinforcement of both ponds is required. Size altitude is approximately 5 m and 3 m. Both dams are assumed in their entirety to be founded on the mountains.
