This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The national park service, east major acquisition buying office, intends to issue a solicitation to install an indoor water wall fountain at the selma to montgomery nht which will be displayed at the montgomery interpretative center on the campus of alabama state university located in montgomery, al on or about 03 july 2019 as solicitation number: 140p5119r0027. The primary objectives of the project are: custom design build an iconic image etched in a slate slab that will be the anchor point of the interpretive exhibits being designed for the montgomery interpretive center. This will include a custom design build and custom etch design using a historic photo of the marchers, picture or logo on water walls. Enhancing of the image is required for the enlarged 140" x 90" slate wall. A detailed statement of work (sow) will be provided with the solicitation documents.
This procurement will be 100% set-aside for small businesses. The naics code is 237110. The small business standard is $36.5m.
All interested offers must have an active vendor record in sam.gov, be a small business under the identified naics code and not have any exclusions such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment.
Type of contract: a firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the middle of july.
Note: davis bacon prevailing wages for montgomery county, alabama will apply.
The government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.
