The object of the works aims to install a cover on all 20 sand filters of the Orly factory, in order to improve its treatment channels and its exploitation. The sand filters are on both sides of the technical gallery of filters, and are an integral part respectively Sectors called Orly 1 (peer filters) and Orly 2 (odd filters). Sand filters are filters that retain suspended materials inside the sand bed, which are then eliminated under the combined action of pulsed air and pressure water during the cycles of Periodic washing made upon way. The project is to cover each of the two sets with 10 sand filters, by a metal cover supporting photovoltaic panels. Each of the two covers measures approximately 98.60 m in length by 21.2 m wide. The coverage created is carried by a metal frame taking support on one side on porticos created on micropiles at the right of technical galleries between decanters and sand filters, and on the other side on the concrete walls at the end of the filters with sand. Partial water stops, by series of filters must be provided to carry out the cover work, with a maximum of 4 phases (stop of 5 or 6 filters at the same time)
