BRIEF SCOPE DESCRIPTION GENERAL OVERVIEW Coventry City Council (CCC) will be launching a procurement exercise to appoint suppliers to deliver four Electric Vehicle (EV) charging hubs in residential areas of Coventry where many homes lack access to off-street parking. Two of the proposed hub locations are public car parks, and two are Council-owned community facilities, which are actively used during the day but remain unoccupied at night, making them suitable for overnight charging. This procurement will be conducted under the Public Procurement Act (PA) 2023 and will use Coventry City Council's standard terms and conditions. HUB LOCATIONS Warwick Street Car Park - Public Wellington Street Car Park - Public St Christopher Primary School - Community Families for All Hub - Community LOT STRUCTURE AND DETAILS Lot 1: EV Charging Infrastructure and Car Park Management Scope: Design, Supply, Installation, Testing, Commissioning, Operation, and Maintenance of vehicle charging infrastructure and management of the car parks. Contract Term: 20 years + 5-year optional extension Funding Model: Fully funded by the supplier Revenue Share: From year 3 - 20% of net revenue from AC chargers, 30% from DC chargers Additional Requirements: A Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) will be required between Lot 1 and Lot 2 to align energy generation and consumption....
