Tenders are invited for Corporate Fundraising Consultant.
UNICEF Serbia seeks to establish a Roster of Corporate Fundraising and Partnership Mobilization consultants. Becoming a pre-qualified consultant in the UNICEF Roster is a one-off standard application that opens the door for potentially multiple assignments within a two-year period. Once pre-qualified, consultants will be eligible for direct recruitment by UNICEF Serbia office for a required time. Over the two-year period, UNICEF will make use of the roster for eligible consultancy requirements; this is therefore a unique opportunity for any interested and qualified consultant to submit one single application and if entered onto the Roster to be immediately considered for any future assignments by UNICEF in the relevant area of expertise.
Purpose of the Assignment:
The consultants will support the private sector engagement, focusing on the business sector in Serbia. UNICEF Serbia plans to focus on the following industries: Tourism, ICT, Retail, Fashion, Banking and Finance.
Business sector represents an important audience for the achievement of the goals for children and corporate partnerships with UNICEF should secure income and also optimization of opportunities for sustainable outcomes for children and young people.
The qualified candidates will be engaged to assist in development and extension of the partnerships within the business sector, which are securing access to customers and employees to acquire new supporters as well as to secure income and technical support to the achievement of Country Programme results for children.

Work Assignment Overview:
Task 1: Assist Fundraising Specialist in mobilization of business sector in support of child rights within Serbia Country programme focusing on Tourism, ICT, Retail, Fashion, Sports, Banking and Finance, Pharmaceuticals.
Deliverables: Monthly reports to include # of companies approached and # of companies that start collaboration with UNICEF.
Task 2: Assist Fundraising Specialist in development of corporate partnerships that include gaining access to companies- networks (consumers, employees, stores etc) and provision of technical expertise in support of UNICEF-s work in Serbia.
Deliverables: Monthly reports to include the following data: # of companies reached, qualitative description of companies- response and # of companies that start collaboration with UNICEF.
Task 3: Support Fundraising Specialist in management of the existing corporate and corporate/private foundations partnerships. Ensure regular communication with corporate partners through provision of reports, share of information that demonstrate the impact and outcomes of UNICEF and partners- investments to secure sustainable partnerships.
Deliverables: Monthly reports to include # and type of contacts with business partners related to UNICEF-s engagement with business partners.
Task 4: Assist Fundraising Specialist in prospecting business networks focusing on development and implementation of shared value partnerships. The shared value partnerships include the need for business value as part of advancing social and economic conditions in the communities in which businesses operate. Shared value is about achieving sustainable societal success by creating value for different stakeholders (businesses, governments, civil society and UNICEF) to optimize opportunities for sustainable outcomes for children and young people.
Deliverables: # of prospected companies for the development of shared value partnerships. # of shared value partnerships.
Task 5: Assist in development of corporate employees- engagement around sport activities: tennis tournament, basketball tournament. Provide administrative and technical assistance in the participation in and organization of special events.
Deliverables: Monthly reports to include number of activities performed to contribute employee engagement around sport activities against monthly work plans.
Knowledge/Expertise/Skills required:
§ University degree in areas such as marketing, promotion, communication, and commercial management
§ Five years of professional work experience in sales and marketing, or corporate social responsibility within one of the following industries: ICT, Tourism, Banking, Retail and Fashion
§ Excellent communication skills in English and Serbian languages, both written and verbal
