Conversion to a fire station at Sandstad in Hitra municipality
In 2024, Hitra municipality acquired a commercial building on Kalvøya, with address Hamneveien 8, 7246 Sandstad. Today's use is a car workshop and office premises over two levels. Parts of today's existing buildings are to be converted into a new fire station. The work will include demolition and extensions, as well as the establishment of a new VA facility. The form of contract for the project is a turnkey contract according to NS8407, with adaptations explained in the tender documents.
