Contracting for a single framework agreement for the realization of 3 dephosphating installations In the current RBMP (River Basin Management Plan), AGV has included (via the Water Management Program) the construction of 3 DFIs on 3 different locations. The 3 DFIs to be built, in combination with other measures, contribute to achieving these goals. The installations are designed based on 'upflow iron sand technology'. This means that water flows from bottom to top through beds of iron sand is guided, whereby phosphate adheres to the iron sand and the purified water can be drained to waters in (vulnerable) nature reserves.
