KOT admission is a sector-critical application that supports admissions processes for higher education in Denmark. After Transition In, the supplier must ensure, in a close agile collaboration with the customer effective maintenance and further development of KOT recording. Background and purpose KOT admission is a sector-critical application that supports the annual coordinated admission to higher education in Denmark. The application annually handles approx. 85, 000 applicants and 229, 000 applications distributed on 940 educational offerings at 30 educational institutions. The coordination task is anchored in the Danish Agency for Education and Research (UFS) in the Coordinated Enrollment (KOT), and includes all vocational academy, professional bachelor's and bachelor's programs. The overall purpose of the coordination is to support that an applicant in the same admission round can apply for admission to several degree programs in priority order, at the same time that the institutions can rank the applications on the basis of case processing of the applications, so that an applicant is offered a maximum of one study place in the highest possible prioritized of the programs applied for. KOT registration has just undergone a modernization in the Danish Agency for IT and Learning, after which it has been handed over to UFS, which now has overall system responsibility.
