The Finnish Government invites artists / constellations to express interest in performing artistic design in the new building Sodium within the project Life Science Life on Medicinarebergeto Goeteborg.

Before the procurement
The Government`s contract invites artists / artist configurations to express interest in carrying out artistic design in the new building Sodrium within the project Nature Science on the Medicinareberget in Goeteborg. the new building brings together research and education within Life Science-related operations under one roof. This means that the opportunities for collaboration, synergy effects and the exchange of ideas can be exploited in the best way possible. The institutions for chemistry and molecular biology, biology and environmental science, marine sciences and the faculty office will all sit together in the new house.
The project is divided into three artistic design assignments according togt as follows:
Assignment 1: new entrance, lawn building and restaurant
Assignment 2: the atrium in the building Sodium
Assignment 3: other common rooms in and around the building Sodium
Interest statements can be submitted for one or more of the assignments. in accordance with the Public Procurement Act, 2016: 1145 (LOU).
Selective procedure means that the procurement takes place in twostep. First, professional artists are invited to submit a statement of interest to produce a sketch proposal for the art design. After completing the selection process, at least two (2) artists and a maximum of three (3) artists are invited per assignment to submit tenders for sketch assignments with the option to carry out the art project to which the tender relates.
