DPS for Locum Tenens Veterinary Inspection services.

The contractor will be part of a team involved in protecting the food and feed chain and in maintaining the high standards of public health, animal health and animal welfare vital for the protection of the consumer as well as for the promotion of Irish agriculture. Tenderers must have a recognised degree in veterinary medicine and must be registered, or eligible for registration (and will register in advance of providing the services), with the veterinary council of Ireland. Some of the duties performed by the contractors are the duties normally completed by a veterinary inspector (VI) dealing with animal health and welfare and public health.
