Buskerud fylkeskommune v/BFK Eiendom [Buskerud County Municipality c/o Buskerud County Property] will have carried out the construction of a new school building at Flatal0kka, as part of the project Kongsberg videregaende skole [Kongsberg sixth form college] — colocation.

Buskerud fylkeskommune v/ BFK Eiendom [Buskerud County Municipality c/o Buskerud County Property] will have carried out the construction of a new school building at Flatal0kka, as part of the project Kongsberg videregaende skole [Kongsberg sixth form college] — colocation.

The works will be implemented as an interaction contract in 2 phases. The first phase, the development phase, will be implemented in close cooperation between the Contracting Authority and the contractor. The second phase, the Implementation Phase, will be carried out as a turnkey contract according to NS 8407. Tenderers are requested to gain a good understanding of the special contractual terms, including the interaction contract, concern the project in it's entirety and the individual phases.

The project primarily comprises the demolition of the existing building on the site, and the erection of a new school building in the size order of 5 000 m GFA. The site is located along Numedalslagen and is flood-prone. Zoning has recently been adopted. The new school building must satisfy Breeam Nor classification very good, and the Contracting Authority aims to achieve passive house and energy classification A. The plan is to construct the building in wood.

The existing building at Flatal0kka is not being used, but other school buildings will be in operation during the entire construction period.
