External transport of ambulatory patients (with or without a wheelchair) - Rehabilitation center ZOL, Campus Sint-Barbara - Lanaken.

Patients arecollected at home, transported to the rehabilitation center, and transported back home after treatment.

Transportation planning is based on patient rehabilitation schedules. The transport takes place in individual journeys or collective journeys.

According to RIZIV regulations of Reimbursement of the insurance for medical care in the transport costs of the beneficiaries-(in the context of the care provided in accordance with the rehabilitation agreements) for individual and collective transport.

The taxi company is responsible for drawing up the timetable, taking into account the number of patients, the therapy hours, the need for adapted transport, .. .

The rehabilitation schedule is delivered weekly to the taxi company, but can change daily because ofn a busy operation and changes within the rehabilitation program

The necessary flexibility is required

The rehabilitation center is open daily, except for weekend days and public holidays. There is no annual collective leave.

The times of the therapy hours and the rehabilitation schedule can be adjusted by the contracting authority in the course of the agreement. Therapy hours can eg.-also be scheduled on public holidays.

The taxi service must always be able to meet the demand for transport.

Equally important is the safety of the patients. Both the cars and the vans must comply with all legal standards. In addition, the NIHDI sets standards on adaptations: electric platform lift, anchoring of wheelchairs, child seats, etc. - transport must be donet car / van adapted for wheelchair patients,

- adapted car / van:

• in good condition and clean / tidy,

• with electric platform lift,

• the necessary comfort: heating and emergency bell,

• anchoring wheelchairs,

• comply to the RIZIV-standards;

- the company and the personnel must comply with all legal obligations concerning insurance, employment and transport of persons in- daily continuity must be insured, - for the approved wheelchair patient, no supplement may be charged to the patient

RIZIV rules concerning the amount of reimbursement of the health care insurance in the transport costs of the entitled persons (in the context of of the care provided in accordance with the rehabilitation agreements):

The compensation of the-health care insurance in the transport costs of the beneficiaries, in the context of the rehabilitation agreements, is arranged by M.B. of 14.12.1995 (B.S. of 30.12.1995) to determine the compensation of the compulsory insurance for medical care and benefits in the travel expenses in connection with the rehabilitation.

This decree provides:

"Art.be taken into account, the trips of the person entitled in a vehicle adapted for transport in his invalid car, to and from a rehabilitation center with which the Medical Care Insurance Committee has entered into a rehabilitation agreement. "

The calculation of the amount of the insurance allowance for each individual transport

The amount of theinsurance payment for transport is calculated for each entitled party by the formula: number of km x amount of the allowance per km

Taking into account the following provisions:

The amount of the allowance per km is the amount that applies for a transfer in an adjusted vehicle from an independent carrier.

* The tenderer submits the Uniform European Tender Document that they have filled in, which consists of an updated self-declaration and is accepted by the contracting authority as provisional evidence to replace documents or certificates issued by governmental authorities or third parties that confirmn that the tenderer concerned meets all of the following conditions:

1) he is not in one of the exclusion situations referred to in articles 67 to 69 of the law of 17.06.2016;

2) he meets the applicable selection criteria as determined in accordance with Article 71 of the Law of 17.06.2016. * * The UEA must be added to the tender. Do not add itand from the UEA in the quotation leads to the exclusion of the quotation.

Uniform European Tender Document (UEA)

The tenderer submits in accordance with art. 73 of the Act for a completed Uniform European Tendering Document (UEA).
