Production of Cumulative Effects Framework for Key Ecological Receptors

The aim of the CEF is to provide a baseline of current effects on to which are added the effects estimated any by a new project or projects to produce a cumulative effects total. The baseline will be updated as new projects are brought into the planning system. The project purpose is not to replace individual project-level assessment estimates of their potential effects. Crucially, the CEF tool developed must be capable of delivering estimated project level and cumulative effects, rather than simply the principles for doing so and be able to demonstrate this functionality within the project timescales.

4 — Excellent. Response is completely relevant and excellent overall. The response is comprehensive, unambiguous and demonstrates a thorough understanding of the requirement and provides details of how the requirement will be met in full.
