CPV Description: Refuse collection services.
Service: Municipal Solid Waste Collection and Transportation of Istiea - Edipsos Municipality. Artemisio, Edipsos, Istiea and Ore.
The contractor will provide the appropriate equipment and personnel for the collection and transportation of household waste in the above areas of Istiaia - Edipsos Municipality.
contractor and immediate contractor service, all residential and non-residential areas, building blocks, streets, squares, other public spaces, stored waste, inside or outside the standard waste bins installed or to be disposed of, at any time and anywhere, during the contract. Also, the contractor is obliged tocollects waste at the locations designated and installed by the municipality.
Frequency of waste collection is divided into two (2) periods, depending on the collection needs, ie:
Low season (16 September to 14 June)
High Season (June 15 to September 15)
The frequency of waste collection will be as follows:
Low PeriodType:
- 1 morning service to the community of Loutra Edipsos (except Ilia, Polilofos),
- 1 morning service to Istiaia Community,
- 1 morning service to the Agios, Neo Pirgos, Orei, Asminio and Artemisio communities,
- 1 morning service every Sunday for Loutron Edipsou and Ermou seafront, and for Istiea Central Square,
- the services will run at six
High Season:
- 1 morning commute to Loutra Edipsos Community (except Ilia, Polilofos),
- 1 morning commute to Istiaia Community,
- 1 morning commute to Agios, Neo Pyrgos, Oreoi, Asminio and Artemisio,
- 1 afternoon ferry to Edipsos and Pefki,
- the routes will run on a seven-day basis.
Waste collection will be carried outof all the above mentioned settlements and the low and high season, using three (3) 16m dump trucks. in accordance with the above collection frequency and instructions of the deputy mayor responsible for cleaning.
OThe above workers will arrange for the collection of household waste and their loading on waste containers, from all residential areas, building blocks, streets, squares and other public areas (playgrounds, etc.), both on and off-site., within the conventional workplace.
Workers will receive all waste without objectionto be delivered to them, in accordance with the municipal cleanliness regulation, whether they are in bins, or outside them in plastic bags, or freely on the street, and in particular:
- waste from homes, institutions, churches, schools, shops, of restaurants, hotels, offices etc.,
- waste coming from cleaning streets, squares and other common areas(Playgrounds, etc.)
The contractor workers will be responsible for returning the bins to certain places in the municipality. The waste will be collected from all areas specified in the Declaration.
To calculate the necessary equipment and personnel for carrying out the waste collection, the following shall be taken into account:
To provideAt least three (3) 16m garbage trucks are required.
In a full shift, the garbage truck runs 80km per day of work.
The garbage truck is staffed by one (1) driver and two (2) workers.

Overall, for the collection and transportation of municipal solid waste, it is estimated thatRequired:
Three (3) closed type dump trucks, with compression type, 2 axles, 16m capacity and up to 19tn gross modern Euro pollution control technology
Have a permit for the collection and transport of solid non-hazardous waste in accordance with CMY US 50910/2727 / 22.12.2003, for the Region of Central Greece and registered withwaste trojan of the Ministry of Environment ..
