Recycling Line for Post-Consumer Textile Waste
Lounais-Suomen Jaetehuolto Oy (later LSJH) is planning to construct a pilot scale recycling plant for end-of-life textiles in Turku, Finland. The recycling facility shall be capable of refining old garments and other used textiles into mechanically regenerated fiber. The pilot plant will be designed for 1 000 kg/h processing capacity. With this invitation to participate, LSJH invites suppliers to impart their willingness to participate in the negotiated procedure, which is described in detail in the Appendix 1. The recycling process is based on mechanical opening cylinder technology. The procurement object consists of a complete textile recycling line, including components for cutting, conveyor feeding, hard parts removal, fiber opening and fiber bale pressing. The delivery shall be Turn Key Delivery. Detailed content of the procurement object and required services for assembly and commissioning are described in the Appendix 2.
