UiO aims to be useful to society and contribute to a good environment in its procurements. This is done to a large degree by emphasising different elements of social and environmental responsibility when goods, services and building and construction shall be procured. In each procurement a concrete assessment will be made as to what measures are most suitable for reducing the impact on the environment, promoting climate friendly solutions and maintaining basic human rights.
UiO needs the following machines:
— One black/white high volume machine, minimum 250 copies per minute.
— Maximum 3 high volume colour printers, with minimum 300 copies of A4 per minute altogether. If a tenderer offers 2 machines with an equivalent capacity, UiO would also like this priced.
— A service contract is required for the machines.
— In addition, prices are wanted for software for work flow. The price must include licences, upgrades and any training of employees.
As regards colour printers, tenderers can offer a greater or lesser number of machines and machine systems than requested, within the limits of the wanted copying volume per minute and available space. UiO does not want tenders for second-hand equipment or demo equipment.
Colour printer requirements:
The printers must be equipped with:
— High volume stacker(s).
— Minimum 4 high volume paper magazines.
— Must be able to print SRA3.
— Adaptions in duplex.
— 3 up of 17 x 24 format is wanted (sheet width: 660 mm) in order to save time and costs.
— High degree of operational reliability/little downtime.
— Quick response time for service and simple on-site maintenance.
Black/white printer requirements:
— High volume stacker(s).
— Minimum 2 high volume paper magazines.
— Must be able to print SRA3.
— Adaptions in duplex.
— High degree of operational reliability/little downtime.
— Quick response time for service and simple on-site maintenance.
If appropriate, the procurement of machines can be split between several tenderers.
In order to evaluate the print quality, UiO would like to inspect the offered machines. UiO will provide the paper and print files. Tenderers must facilitate an inspection in the Oslo area.
UiO requires the ‘Svane' environmental label, or equivalent environmental label, for the coloured powder for the machines. Tenderers who do not have this will be rejected.
