Sanitary-hygienic control of the supply, interior supply, own and annexed installations, as well as the adequacy to the parameters and controls required by current sanitary legislation and established self-control plans, referred tonto drinkable water as to regenerated.

The University of Murcia, for the normal development of its management, teaching and research activity, has buildings and infrastructures in the different existing campuses, which are used by a large number of people and that are equipped with storage and distribution systems of different types ofThey are subject to health legislation.

Due to legal imposition, the University of Murcia is obliged to guarantee the adequacy of the hygienic-sanitary conditions of all its drinking water and regenerated facilities to the legislation in force, as well as the prevention and control of legionellosis.

To carry out this task it must:

- Ensure the proper functioning of the systemsMechanics involved in the correct maintenance of the physical-chemical and microbiological conditions of the water used,

- Perform a series of analytical checks through laboratories that have a quality self-monitoring system according to the UNE-EN ISO / IEC 17025,

- Perform a series of control visits to verify, through protocols and self-control plans establisheds, the correct hygienic-health status of the facilities, safeguarding the health of the users,

- Carry out periodic inspections of the facilities to check their correct operation and their good state of conservation and cleanliness,

- Carry out the cleaning and disinfection of the facilities, issuing the corresponding certificates,

- Keep a detailed record of the entire documentacion generated, which should be kept properly organized and available to the health authorities.

Registration in the Official Registry of establishments and Biocidal Services (ROESB).
