Transport of Day Centre Users 2019, New Notice

Troms0 kommune [municipality] wants to enter into a contract for the transport of day centre users for a period of 1 year, with an option to extend the contract for a further 1 year + 1 year + 1 year.

The transportation assignments include transport of users from their home addresses to the municipality`s day centres and return every day except Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, Christmas and new year`s evenings as well as Wednesdays before Easter. For some day-centres the transportation also includes picking up companions at the day centres. Then the users are to be picked up at their home addresses with return to the day centres. Equivalently this applies for return transport when the day centres close. The transportation service applies for the following day centres:

— Mainland,

— Troms0 Aktivitet og Rehabilitering [Troms0 Activity and Rehabilitation],

— Laureng,

— Heracleum,

— Tindfoten.

It must be anticipated that the number of travellers, travelling patterns, composition of user groups, changes in collection and delivery addresses, any requirements regarding own risk, etc. can vary. The change is more frequent in some user groups than others.

The existing transport routes and their addresses are given in Annex 2. New transport schedules shall be prepared and approved in close cooperation with each user location.

In 2018, the municipality costs for transport to and from the day centres were approx. 4 000 000 NOK. The volume will depend on the contracting authorities` budget situation, activities and other framework factors. The historical procurement volume must therefore be seen as a guide.

The stated prices are the foundation for future alterations based on users.
