The supply and management of Calcium Nitrate (and/or Sodium Nitrate) which will be used to prevent H2S across Southern Water's sewer network.
Southern Water uses Calcium Nitrate as a preventive solution against Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) generation to prevent corrosion of the rising main itself and reduction in odour complaints at the end of the rising main.
The scope of the contract is to supply Calcium Nitrate (and/or Sodium Nitrate) which will be used to prevent H2S across Southern Water's sewer network. The scope of this contract also includes the stock management and control of the required chemical.
