Engineering, provision and installation of CPT (Cone Penetration Testing) tips for Ifremer penetrometer "Penfeld".
Penfeld is a penetrometer designed to analyze seabed soil characteristics up to a depth of 6 000 meters. It is self-powered and lowered to the seabed and lifted by cable. A linear winch unrolls a rod at a constant rate. This rod is a long stainless steel thick tube of 36 mms. The Penfeld pushes this long rod and its probe into the sediment from the seabed to 50 m deep.
Ifremer would like to buy a set of CPT tips adapted to the Penfeld penetrometer. Required supply may be summed up as follows:
— design of the necessary adaptations to the interfacing of the CPT tips,
— realization of the modifications and the consecutive interfaces,
— supply of 2 CPT tips 0-50 kN class 2 according to ISO 22476-1,
— supply of the associated documentation (user and maintenance),
— contribution in workshop tests (Brest - France),
— contribution in sea trials (departure from Toulon - France),
— training to the use and maintenance of the supply,
— warranty, maintenance, spares.
— Application phase with competitive call supplemented by the present rules of the call for applications, in order to proceed to the selection of applications. The number of candidates admitted to submit a tender is limited to 4,
— tender phase with consultation of the selected candidates and selection of the most economically advantageous tender, appreciated according to the criteria set out in the rules of tender.
